Village Health Project

Nutrition Training Center of Excellence:

The long-term goal of the project is to develop a Nutrition Training Center of Excellence in Uganda . The aim of the Center is to promote nutrition, food security, health, and general social and economic status of the population through community-based and integrated training in a rural set-up. It is our hope that this Training Center will be able to teach health professionals in East Africa simple and sustainable ways to help their villages achieve better health and wellness.

The Village Health Project is teaming up with John Kakitahi and the Makerere University Institute of Public Health to find funding to make this goal a reality.
